Forkopimko: Situation in West Jakarta is Safe and Conducive

The West Jakarta City Leadership Communication Forum (Firkopimko) conducted a joint patrol to ensure a safe and conducive situation.

Don't gather in groups unless there is an urgent need

West Jakarta Mayor, Uus Kuswanto said, the patrol involving 350 personnel from West Jakarta City administration, Military District Command (Kodim), and Police patrolled the main roads and areas prone to security disturbances.

"We express our highest appreciation for the synergy between the army and police for their initiative and commitment to keep West Jakarta safe through joint patrols earlier this morning," he expressed, Monday (9/1).

Workplaces Urged to Implement WFH as Protest Action

West Jakarta Metro Resort Police Chief, Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi invites residents to participate in maintaining environmental conduciveness by collaborating with related officials.

"Besides us, residents need to work together to build a safe and comfortable environment for living and activities," he explained.

West Jakarta Kodim 0503 Commander, Sigit Dharma Wiryawan added, those involved in acts of unrest, anarchy, or criminal activities would be dealt with firmly.

"Don't gather in groups unless there is an urgent need. Remind each other if there are any negative indications in your respective areas," he asserted.
